Photo Gallery: Wings Over Whiteman Air Show

B-29 Doc attended the 2017 Wings Over Whiteman air show at Whiteman Air Force Base June 10-11.  The event drew record attendance, according to base leadership, including an estimated 100,000+ visitors during the two-day air show.

The Doc’s Friends B-29 crew was joined on the flight from Wichita to Whiteman on Friday by Brig. General Paul Tibbets, who sat in the right seat of B-29 Doc and flew the warbird during its trip to the air show.
